Eligible players ages 9-12. Players will compete in either Intermediate Baseball or Major Baseball, as determined by the mandatory skills assessment and Majors draft selection.
For all baseball players ages 9-12 who were not yet selected to a Major Division roster in Spring 2020, a player skills assessment will be held on Sunday February 28, 2021 from 10:00am - 3:00pm (makeup is Monday, March 1st from 7:00pm - 8:00 pm at ATI (Athlete Training Institute) located at 14 Alcap Ridge, Cromwell, CT.
All players will be evaluated in hitting, throwing and fielding. Drills will be observed by Major and Intermediate coaches. All players MUST ATTEND the Skills Assessment. The assessment allows each coach to evaluate the basic skills of each eligible player to aid in the player selection process.
Intermediate Baseball (age 9-11)
Scores and records are kept throughout season. Regular LL baseball rules. Practice and/or games 2-3 times per week. Competitive baseball is played while still developing players as their final step before reaching the major baseball division.
Major Baseball (age 9-12)
Competitive play, the league's most competitive division. Scores and records are kept throughout season. Regular LL baseball rules. Practice and/or games 3-4 times per week.
