Baseball and Softball Umpires Needed!

Love baseball/softball? Looking for an exciting way to become involved in youth sports and to earn some money? Don't have the time to commit to coaching a team. Every Majors and Minors game requires two umpires so there are plenty of opportunities to call a game. The typical time commitment for an umpire is 15 minutes prior to the game time until approximately 10 minutes after game time. (average game time is two hours.) No experience necessary.  Must be 13 years or older.  On-field and classroom training will be provided.  Must complete training sessions in order to Ump. Welcome to the home of Newington Little League. We provide a positive coaching environment for children ages 4-16 in baseball and softball.

Newington Little League is successful because of the time, effort, and commitment of all of our volunteers. We cannot do what we do without you!

We are always looking for new volunteers to join our team and continue our success year after year.  If you have a specific skill or are just interested in helping out in any way, please contact us.

We always need help with field preparations, announcing games, concessions, opening day, umpiring, etc.
